Reading history across engine versions
Every score carries ascorerVersion. The engine changes occasionally — a factor is added,
a weight is retuned — and when it does, the version is bumped and old snapshots are left
exactly as they were written. We do not rescore history.
That means scores are comparable within a version, not across one. Any analysis of the
record — hit rates, calibration, score-versus-outcome — must group by scorerVersion or it
will be comparing two different instruments. The trade-off is deliberate: rewriting history
to match the current engine would make the numbers prettier and the record worthless.
